Unlike his predessessor in the RSB, James is neither 6 foot 6" nor black. However, when singing the funk he likes to think that he is... James is a dynamic performer with a great vocal range and a catalogue of funky moves.
He has been singing his socks off since the tender age of 11 when he was cast as the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. He subsequntly sang with choirs and bands of varying genres throughout school and university as well as continuing to dabble in musical theatre, notably playing Danny Zuko in Grease.
James is also a talented guitarist and nowadays may frequently be found playing rock, blues and/or traditional Irish music in and around London Town, especially after a few pints of the black stuff. He joined the RSB in November 2007 and simply loves to play that funky music!
