Hannah has been setting up and running bands for 10 years and founded the RSB in 2004. Before that she started up and used to manage a 30-piece big band whilst at Oxford Uni, which produced 2 professional CDs, and did 3 international tours under her helm. You'd think the highlight was playing at Toronto Jazz Festival, but it was actually Disneyland Paris.
In gigs Hannah plays the piano in the band, an instrument she has been playing on and off for 20 years. She also used to sing in Hertford College Chapel choir, St Mary's Chapel Choir in Penzance, and currently sings with the Bradfield Concert Choir. Ages ago, she regularly played piano in the Patrick Afane jazz quintet at the Caveau des Oubliettes when she lived in Paris, and at jam sessions at the Acorn Theatre in Penzance.
