Dario and his Peter Pan kit joined the RSB in March 2005. Dario started playing the drums at an early age of 5, and played in countless minor bands as well as a couple of rather very good outfits, both in Italy (his homeland) and the UK. His best achievement over in Italy was playing on a single distributed in Japan, by a group called 'Flowers from the Dustbin', and also playing with a well-acclaimed Dream Theatre covers band.
In the UK Dario works with the experimental dance company 'Gelede Dance', plays with the rock band 'The Treat' (album in release) and, of course, plays regularly with the Red Soul Brigade.
His personal heros are John Bonham, Jon Hiseman, Bill Bruford, Billy Cobham, Elvin Jones and Mike Portnoy, Terry Bozzio.
Dario has spent 25 years building up his impressive drum kit - which he insists he does use to play along with other instruments in the band, not just the bass...
