Clare was a medical student at St. John's College when she joined The Red Soul Brigade in June 2005. She got her first saxophone for her 13th birthday and promptly achieved Grade 8 aged 14. She and her current baby have been together for seven years. They both thoroughly enjoy funking it up with the RSB.
Clare also plays in Plural Sax, 'Oxbridge's finest saxophone octet'. She has a bit of a knack for the recorder and the flute too, and was runner up in the regional final of the Rotary Music Comeptition in 2001.
She has toured the USA with The Ged Watson Memorial Band and Europe with the Colne Valley Youth Orchestra. Clare also runs a baroque quartet in which she plays recorder (also available for hire).
