Clare is a medical student at St. John's College and she joined The Red Soul Brigade in June 2005. She got her first saxophone for her 13th birthday and promptly achieved Grade 8 aged 14. She and her current baby have been together for four years. They both thoroughly enjoy funking it up with the RSB.
Clare also plays in Plural Sax, Oxbridge's finest saxophone octet, where she met Mark. She is extremely proficient at the recorder and the flute too, and was runner up in the regional final of the Rotary Music Comeptition in 2001.
She has toured the USA with The Ged Watson Memorial Band and Europe with the Colne Valley Youth Orchestra. Clare also runs a baroque quartet in which she plays recorder (also available for hire). Last year she was awarded a prestigous St. John's music bursary.
