Whilst not highly skilled in a musical instrument, unlike his esteemed fellow band members, Bayo’s been around music for most of his life. He loves the stuff. His instrument of choice is his voice, any other instrument 'just isn't natural'.
Bayo was the lead vocalist for Oxford University's 30-piece jazz band 'The Donut Kings' for 2 years, and recorded with them on their CD 'Odd Prime' both as a soloist and in a harmony group. He sung in the Oxford Chorus, and Hertford College Choir for 3 years where he met Hannah. His favourite entry on his musical biography is having sung with a mo-town function band in Egypt every friday night for 2 months whislt he was studying there.
For as long as he can remember he has always been a singer and spent most of his years at Oxford, and many years before, involved in a variety of musical undertakings – including the infamous medschool panto for 3 years in a row.
Bayo is Hannah's oldest acquaintance
in the RSB, they have been making music together for 5 years. When he
was offered the chance to be lead vocalist for the new band, he was thrilled
to accept and hasn’t looked back since.
